Pretty remarkable, if you ask me...

The Vols have had an amazing run of 4-year kickers. Since the 1991 season, we've had Becksvoort, Hall, Walls, and Wilhoit, and now we're looking at another 4-year starter in progress - Daniel Lincoln. Becksvoort and Walls didn't start the entire year of their first year kicking for the Vols, but the others did.

Quite the streak. It's gonna be five kickers spanning two whole decades of Tennessee football.

Special teams...

A number of folks are saying that because the Vols’ special teams coverage units are so poor, UGA is certain to get some kind of return touchdown on Saturday afternoon. What I can’t get out of my head is the fact that the Dawgs got two of those last season and we still beat them by 18 points. So why am I supposed to be scared of a special teams touchdown by Georgia?

Oh wait, that’s right. The defense.
